Position Overview

This role focuses on member engagement, administration, and event coordination within a professional association or membership-based organization. The position requires balancing front-line service with backend database management, while also supporting recruitment, retention, and mentoring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Management & Service: Act as the first point of contact for members, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person promptly and professionally.
  • Administration & Database Management: Process new memberships, renewals; maintain and update the membership database to ensure data integrity.
  • Retention & Recruitment: Assist with telemarketing, roadshows, and outreach to recruit new members and renew existing ones.
  • SID Mentoring Platform Management – Manage mentor/mentee administration, feedback, system enhancements and advisory panel.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing member events and networking sessions to boost engagement.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports for management regarding membership/mentoring numbers, engagement, and renewals.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with members to improve loyalty and satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Min Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:  At least 2 years of experience in membership services, customer service, preferably within a fast-paced or hospitality-related environment.
  • Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with interacting with C-level executives and board directors
