- Use available analysis tools to identify and resolve defect deviation problem. Use data extraction and data analytical tools to troubleshoot and find out root cause for out of control (OOC) defect issues.
- Learn daily routine defect quality control tasks, daily massive defect shading or mechanical scratch shading checking.
- Work on productivity improvement projects to automate or optimize tasks to reduce unnecessary time needed in RDA manufacturing line.
- Participate in discussion and meeting internally within RDA or externally with other process areas to collaborate and resolve defect related issues.
- Able to understand the basic defect analysis and troubleshooting.
- Able to understand daily routine defect checking.
- Able to complete productivity improvement projects with realized manhour savings.

JR39348 Intern - Product Integration Engineer (PIE) RDA (Polytechnic Student)Description:
As an RDA (Real-time Defect Analysis) Intern at Micron, you will be working with a team of other RDA engineers and technologists responsible for product quality and reliability control, process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems.
This position will identify, diagnose and resolve defect related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology. Additional responsibilities include productivity or yield improvement activities and projects with some smart manufacturing and automation required.
