Senior / Procurement Engineer (Electronics)

Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for supplier selection and strategies alliance
  • Develop and manage relationship with all key suppliers
  • Conduct regular review on supplier's quality and cost reduction target
  • Develop and implement vendor managed inventory program
  • Liaise with suppliers on all quality issues
  • Lead procurement activities in product transfer and new product introduction
  • Liaise with suppliers on quality improvement program
  • Drive continuous process improvement by measuring and analysing suppliers and process efficiency
  • Develop and implement cost reduction activities
  • Liaise with the necessary internal and external parties on the disposal of nonconforming materials

Requirements:


  • Min Diploma in Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 3 Years' work experience in Electronics industry (High mix, low volume manufacturing environment)
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Have experience in leading new product introduction
  • SAP R/3 or HANA
