    Job Overview


    TE's HR Solutions Partners function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. They implement Human Resources policies at the country, regional or global level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives.

    This position provides geographically-based HR consultative advice to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, guidelines, goals and objectives. This position frequently collaborates with multiple Senior level executives and foreign expatriates (Band 3+) based in the region and provides timely recommendations to ensure compliance with local country policies and regulations. This position should be able to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

    Lead HR function in South East Asia region for 4 countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia

    Responsibility:



    •Manage a team of experienced individual contributor HR professionals to ensure the execution of HR initiatives across all sites/countries of responsibility.

    •Provide HR partnership to the Manufacturing plant to support the achievement of business results through established HR imperatives including recruiting, employee engagement, workforce management, performance management, Leadership development, and succession planning

    •Manage expatriates and repatriation movements between countries and work in close collaboration with global mobility team and vendor partners to ensure Strategic Business needs are met in timely manner

    •Develop and administer performance requirements/metrics in order to measure the team's performance

    •Provide general supervision and necessary guidance to payroll activities; review and authorize payroll for all 5 countries, requires familiarization of local payroll practices

    •Ensure adherence to HR budgets within the assigned geographical region

    •Ensure compliance with advisories issued by Ministry of Manpower and other local government regulations

    •Coach managers and employees in all locations to ensure that recurring HR processes, such as talent, performance management, salary review processes, are completed appropriately and on time

    •Collaborate with global teams like BU HRBP and COE functions to drive key HR processes like employee relations, recruiting, termination, redundancies and data analysis/metrics

    •Formulate and execute HR imperatives for any Merger and Divestiture / Process insourcing and outsourcing (e.g: CrossFit actions, etc.)

    •Act as a liaison between on-site business units, and functions, including BU HRBP while implementing any organizational development initiatives, workforce planning or succession planning, talent management or performance management activities as developed by the corporate leadership team

    •Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new initiatives requiring knowledge of TE's Business and processes

    •Employ agile thinking, works on issues of diverse scope requiring analysis using a variety of factors to design and deliver HR solutions to solve problems at the pace of business

    •Manage and establish relationships with external organizations including government agencies; training consultants and professional associations

    Desired Candidate Profile:


    Education Qualification / Skills Required:


    •Post Graduate Degree in HR or equivalent with at least 10-12 years of progressive experience

    •Must have team management experience of at least 3 to 5 years

    •Ability to manage and influence various global stakeholders at multiple levels and develop credible relationships within the organization

    •Ability to identify and make deviations from traditional approaches to enhance existing processes

    •Ability to assess risks and ensure compliance across areas of accountability

    •Knowledge of local laws and regulations and updated with local market trends and best practices
