The Role Responsibilities

  • Intrapreneurs is SC Ventures' flagship program that helps staff across the Bank to build their innovative ideas. We look for ideas to improve the lives of our customers and drive our business. Intrapreneurs are supported by SC Ventures with the framework, tools, coaching, and funding to take their ideas forward. The core activities of the Intrapreneur Program are to drive culture change, by working with bank stakeholders and employees of SCB to solve business problems, which could then materialise as future venture ideas to be taken forward by SCV.
  • The role holder is accountable for leading the Intrapreneur workstream, designing and driving the future strategy and building blocks of the program and building and managing a team, while balancing strong stakeholder relationships across geographies.
  • Partnering with relevant SC Ventures Operating Members, functional partners, core business areas, regional management teams, transformation teams and change agents, group services, GBS and venture stakeholders, the role holder will drive the business outcomes of the Intrapreneur workstream.

Strategy

  • Scaling up the program and delivering impact on culture of the bank, while aligning to the SCB business strategy
  • Find new / innovative ways to deliver the agenda including tools and external collaborations

Business

  • Ensuring collaboration with other parts of SCV in order to deliver outcomes e.g., Fintech Engagement, Client Engagement, Venture building etc
  • Scoping intrapreneurship program as a potential viable service for external clients

Processes

  • Drive idea sourcing with business stakeholders and provide ongoing support to ensure delivery of quality ideas
  • Oversight of delivery of business innovation Challenges, Innovation Bootcamps and Sponsor Launchpads in order to move innovative ideas into deliverable solutions
  • Engage with CIO / Stakeholders / Transformation team to ensure ideas progress into outcomes and achieve business impact
  • Ensure effective delivery of required support to other SC Ventures workstreams in the 'inspiration' and 'ideation' stages of the design process i.e. Client Engagement, Venture building
  • Tracking and reporting of progress for active and inflight Intrapreneurs and ideas, to SC Ventures and to the relevant business stakeholders
  • Work with Communications team to provide new and innovative ways to report progress and capture and demonstrate impact to engage bank

People & Talent

  • Lead the team to deliver the Intrapreneurship Program as determined by the SCV scorecard and SC Ventures business priorities. This may include coordinating with multiskilled teams across SCV and SCB.
  • Lead the team to support multiple SC Ventures Workstreams, including Client Engagement and Venture Building, as required by SC Ventures business priorities.
  • Lead by example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including risk and control partners.
  • Employ, engage and retain the right talent.
  • Develop and embed a highperformance culture with specific focus on capability, effectiveness, and productivity
  • Develop talent to ensure a highquality succession pipeline at all levels, managing capacity and sponsor ongoing development activities that focus on the identified high performing and high potential individuals within the businesses
  • Focus on interregion and global talent opportunities and pipelines

Risk Management

  • Understand the risk and control environment in Intrapreneur's area of responsibility and drive rectification as required
  • Understand and help manage the peoplerelated risk profile of SC Ventures including operational and reputational risk, to Group Standards
  • Coordinate global and major thematic risk & control responses within SC Ventures as part of the global process
  • Support the effective implementation of Risk Management framework within the role remit
  • Ensure effective processes are in place to identify, manage, monitor and report risk

Governance

  • Embed the Group's values and code of conduct, as it relates to the role remit, to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture.
  • Engage with relevant audit report findings across the relevant functions and ensure feedback is acted upon.

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, protecting and enhancing SC Ventures' reputation and image and developing the SCV brand.
