Description
Key Responsibilities Manages the UOB GTO testing processes, methods and standards to ensure delivery of UOB's technology agenda and incorporation of leading testing practicesDesign tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure testing services are compliant with defined testing methods and standardsDrives and measures adoption of GTO testing processes, methods and standards across GTO domains. Supports the Test Quality and Governance lead in the coordination of regular approval forums/ workgroups for reviewing testing standards/ processes and methodologies including requests for dispensation/ deviation.Assist the Test Quality and Governance lead in the conduct of on-going health check, audits, reviews and walkthrough's etc. on project deliverables, identifying gaps and driving the remediation. This includes review of requirement, design documents, test artefacts, outputs of the gating process etc.Provides QA data and analysis as neededWork with Test Delivery Lead, and Test Program Managers to identify high-risk projects and engages Testing CoE in direct QA checks and adherence as neededUpdates and maintains standards/ processes/ methodologies relating to testing and ensure alignment with other UOB GTO defined policies/ guidelines/ processes in supporting IT delivery to business.Provides periodic reports on quality metrics used to benchmark and measure respective Testing domains and adherences to GTO defined standards on testing. Qualifications and Skills Required•Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering/ Banking & Finance or related field.
•At least 5-7 years' experience in managing and governing technology operations or technology delivery teams/ units as well as service providers preferably in the area of Banking and Finance.
•Experience with design & implementation of testing standards, tools, processes & methodologies, supporting the various delivery methodologies Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps
•A proven, successful track record of driving the definition of Testing, Quality Assurance and Governance strategies and the roadmaps and programmes to deliver them and mobilization of the necessary projects.
•Demonstrated success in developing highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver collaboration, partnerships and services.
•Strong attention to details, excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
•Experience in audit reviews and coordination of audit responses.
•Experience in change management, and managing both internal QA team and external vendors.
•Testing or quality certifications will be preferred.
