Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Working directly with the Regional and OpCo MT's (incl. Regional President and OpCo GM's, Reg. HRD's, Reg. Supply Chain and Commerce Directors), Director of Health & Safety, Global H&S Team.
In scope:
All activities in the respective region incl. Production, CS&L, Commerce, Offices.
- Setting Health & Safety direction and strategy within the region. Advise Regional and OpCo Senior management on H&S matters and priority setting.
- Supporting the OpCo's in translating the strategy in an operational plan to ensure the deployment and delivery of HEINEKEN's safety, health & wellbeing programmes and processes to proactively manage company's risks and achieve objectives related to people & process safety, health & wellbeing, licensetooperate and compliance assurance.
- Monitoring, analysing trends and reporting regional H&S performance to regional and global teams and instil measures where necessary to raise the profile of H&S. Act as a Safety, Health & Wellbeing culture change agent
- Supporting Region and OpCo MT's in solving H&S related matters including investigating and solving sensitive cases such as serious injuries, fatalities or noncompliance, highrisk or crisis management issues
- Promote a regional H&S network of OpCo SHE mgrs., coordinates regional and crossOpCo H&S activities. Identifies opportunities and coordinates functional capability building and talent management within the region
- Supporting the Region and OpCo's in the H&S budgeting process. Assist the OpCo's in the development and reviewing of H&S objectives and improvement programmes.
- Providing H&S expertise and support to regional due diligence (acquisition & divestiture) and integration processes
- Education: University level
- Required work experience in field of expertise: demonstrated successful experience in Health & Safety roles that required interacting with and engaging cross functional and senior management stakeholders. Leading deployment and support successful delivery in a matrix organization. Experienced in assurance processes including audit and data management Experienced in various type of transformational journey including culture change
- Other fields of expertise: strong business acumen, knowledge in corporate governance, data analytics, functional budgeting
- Functional skills: functional expertise in health & safety (H&S) incl. culture change management, program management, problem solving and decisionmaking. Executive communications and strategic thinking. Results driven
- Languages: English essential, a second language is preferred
- Key Leadership expectations: Manages relationships with stakeholders (with conflicting interests) on strategic and tactical level. Able to work in an inclusive way in leading the HS&S community and to build and maintain professional relationships with business and functional leaders
- Communication skills: Influencing skills: strong ability to convince others, gain agreement or acceptance of plans, activities and ability to move others willingly towards a desired goal or course of action
