Commercial Manager - Singapore - AMIDA GLOBAL PTE. LTD.
Description
A global cost advisory firm is now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Singapore focused on delivering projects in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, data centres and other mission critical facilities.
Key Duties:
- Responsible for project administration and documentation including variation orders, progress claims and progress payments.
- Develop procurement strategy
- Work closely with project managers for site progress status and measurement.
- Prepare claims reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Advise on contractual matters and construction cost.
- Establish rapport with consultants, architects, developers and sub contractors.
- Risk management and financial/budget control and reporting.
- Participation in litigation involving disputes and delays.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline.
- 15 years of quantity surveying, contract management or commercial management experience in the construction sector in Singapore working on projects over SGD100 million in value.
- Prior experience working within a main contractor and cost consultant.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to manage stakeholders at every level.
- Strong knowledge in various types of construction contracts including FIDIC, REDAS, SIA.
- Good understanding on EPCM projects and construction law.
- Ability to commence work on a short notice.
