Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/Economics/Finance/Business/IT
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn
Proficient in MS Office especially in MS Excel
Knowledge of Xero/Quickbooks Online will have added advantage
Qualified Chartered Secretary or with other relevant professional qualifications will be a plus
Has 2-3 years of practicing corporate secretarial experience or with a legal background with a focus on corporate law and compliance
Prior work experience in a corporate service provider will be advantageous
Good knowledge of the Companies Act and AML/CFT requirements of registered filing agent
The main responsibilities of the role will mainly include:
Implement digital accounting system for clients (Training will be provided)
Prepare/review full set of accounts for various industries and regular financial and GST reporting
Assist senior consultant in driving consultancy digital projects including project management and digital solution training
Explore and implement latest digital financial solutions to clients
Interesting and wide exposure to accounting, tax and finance system consultancy projects
Incorporation
Amendments to company constitution
Preparation of board meetings and AGMs documentation (eg. minutes, resolutions and articles of association)
Attending to client enquiry on Corporate Secretarial engagement matters.
Supervision of Corporate Secretarial Associate work on engagement matters and filing
Ensuring timely AGM reminders and Filing of Annual Returns
Maintenance and upkeep of statutory registers
Performance of AML KYC procedures

Other information

Remuneration will commensurate with the level of experience and expertise
