Responsibilities
- Adheres and complies to internal information security policies and those implemented by customer
- To provide technical support on desktop, laptop, mobile and ICT devices remotely or at customers' premises.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot mobile devices such as smartphones running on IOS and Android
- Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
- When the restoration is beyond the scope of the Desktop Support Administrator the Desktop Support Administrator will escalate the issue/problem to proper tier 2 or 3 support team member.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorised peripheral equipment.
- Performs remedial repairs and general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorised peripheral equipment.
- Performs general work and administration in relocation IT equipment project and any IT asset movement project.
- Performs work in compliance within specified warranty requirements.
- Returns defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory, documents customer repairs, maintains and restocks assigned parts inventory to insure proper spare parts levels.
- Provides backup support and assistance to the Network Administrator and Service Desk as needed.
- Responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory.
- Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to the Desktop Support Administrator.
- Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues within the desktop environment.
- Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Salary:
$2, $3,500.00 per month
