Our opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Operations team in Singapore.

You will help deliver IT services to internal employees and external customers or business partners, contribute to the successful transformation of our business through the delivery of targeted strategic initiatives.

You will support various IT security, control and governance activities, ensure that IT processes are executed consistently, minimize risks of control failures.


Your role

As our IT Services Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Manage an IT Helpdesk Team, provide IT services support to all levels of staff, including senior management executives based in Singapore.
  • Manage IT services providers, ensure that service providers meet agreed service levels and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure of the office, monitor system performance, identify business needs on IT services and execute improvement actions. Work closely with Office Manager on office relocation project and technology change.
  • Deliver IT budget of the organization, manage and control IT expenses.
  • Support various IT security, control and governance activities, implement preventive and corrective measures to reduce risk exposure.
  • Participate in periodic audit examinations by internal or external auditors, ensure IT processes are executed precisely and consistently with traceable evidence, minimize risks of control failures.
  • Supervise and safeguard the delivery quality of IT team members and partners.
  • Effectively manage change, dependencies and expectations, and proactively resolve issues and risks.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience

As our IT Services Manager, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • At least 7 years of experience in delivering IT Services with at least 5 years of experience in a management capacity in large organizations. Preferably in insurance or other financial service industries.
  • Good knowledge of modern technologies including MS 365, Power BI, Power Apps, laptops, virtual desktops, mobile, network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, office & workplace technologies.
  • Solid experience in practicing IT processes including SDLC, service desk, change management, incident management, asset management, access control, etc. in a large organization.
  • Experience in ServiceNow is value added.
  • Holders of ITIL or PMP certifications are preferred.
  • Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Handson, and open minded with cando attitude.
  • Independent, selfmotivated and innovative with good problem solving, interpersonal and can foster teamwork.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and see work through to completion
