PURPOSE
Reporting directly to Manager, Valuation, with the focus on IFRS17, EV/VONB reporting.

The role provides opportunities to work directly with the AA and CFO in matters relating to strategic plans and other key projects.


KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Responsible for regular reporting, analysis of movement, actuarial assumption setting, and financial impact assessment.
  • Responsible for IFRS17/EV/VONB prophet model validation and new products implementation.
  • Assisting and supporting the process enhancement and automation initiatives in the team to improve reporting processes in terms of speed, accuracy and controls.
  • Support Valuation Manager and Senior Manager, AA, CFO and the team on key adhoc projects where required.
EXTERNAL & INTERNAL STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Key internal stakeholders: Actuarial, Finance and Business Owners
  • Key external stakeholders: Group Actuarial and Auditors
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Good actuarial exam progress with up to 3 years of actuarial experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

  • Keen on learning and have some understanding on the actuarial technical skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior working experience in valuation or reporting is an added advantage
  • Prior working experience in Actuarial software
  • Prophet is an added advantage
  • Skilled in computing language is an added advantage
