Description

**Our client is a Global MNC company in the Supply Chain industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Sourcing Team Lead to join their Sourcing team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

Formulate comprehensive sourcing strategies for the company's current/new categories with various regional stakeholders
Work closely with various regional stakeholders to implement these strategies effectively
Enhance quality, delivery, and cost efficiency to align and meet the company's strategic objectives
Develop/Execute strategies to enhance the company's strategic sourcing proficiencies
Conduct periodic assessments with key suppliers, engaging the relevant stakeholders
Regularly assess the current supplier base, and identify potential suppliers to meet the company's business needs
Establish a framework for the company and the preferred suppliers to facilitate regional business expansion for specific categories
Boost profit margins through strategic sourcing and promotion of the company's branded products
Lead and guide various company stakeholders, offering guidance to drive process enhancements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the adoption of new/improved processes
Generate accurate reports to ensure timely information for the company's management decisions
Capture/Document the various stakeholders' insights/feedback, and ensure that process enhancements are being developed to avert future losses
Foster collaboration among team members to achieve productivity objectives
Supervise a group of specialists, driving and meeting the company's business objectives All other adhoc duties as assigned
