Description

Senior Business Partner to the Development team and MD, and IA-lead for Business Units ("BUs") - Providing deal support and financial analysis for new deal signings & IHG Growth, with secondary focus on supporting the Operations team for refurbishment-scenario analysis for operating assets.

Key Accountabilities

Lead IA team for SEAK and JAPAC in the assessment of Franchised & Managed projects from market research, to feasibility and valuation.
Proactive guidance and training of IA team in deal strategic positioning, feasibility and valuation.
Ensure IA team effectively supports Development and other key BU stakeholders including active management and prioritisation of team capacity to meet external and internal deadlines
Lead deal approval process, preparation of deal underwriting/approvals and regional submissions
Collaborate with the BU stakeholders to improve IA knowledge, methodology and processes
Lead and conduct adhoc strategic projects as required
Representation of IHG at industry conferences and events e.g. HICAP in Hong Kong
Conduct administrative tasks at the BUlevel (e.g. key money approvals) and support reporting, consolidation, other tasks as required at the EMEAAlevel.
Responsible for recruitment & retention of SEAK & JAPAC IA team, including planning of training, growth, exposure & progression of individual team members.

**Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills and Knowledge

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business/Finance or Economics, Real Estate or equivalent

Experience:
Min. of [8] years of experience in Hotel, Valuation and/or Finance experience or equivalent

Skills:

Experience in leading & managing crossborder teams with strong stakeholdermanagement skills
Experience in & knowledge of JAPAC and/or SEAK hotel markets
Experience in market research, hotel operations and feasibility required, with understanding of real estate investment & valuation highly desired
Strong analytical, problemsolving, writing and influencing skills
Effective communication, organisation, project management & time management skills
Strong industry network across operators and consultants
