- Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting or Regulatory Reporting
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of month-end financial closing and assigned regulatory reporting returns to MAS.
- Closely monitor compliance with regulatory ratios and alert management when necessary actions are required.
- You will need to keep up-to-date with regulatory updates, changes and new requirements, and provide feedback to MAS where applicable.
- Continual assessment of processes, outputs and controls will be essential to progress the function towards best practice operational excellence.
- Additionally, you will assist with year-end audit/liaison, financial and regulatory reporting, and other ad hoc assignments as required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in banking, with a focus on financial or regulatory reporting
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of MAS regulatory reporting guidelines, practices and procedures are preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to take on new challenges and be adaptive to a fast-growing and dynamic start-up environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and tight schedules, cope with several tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Creativity and comfortable with 'blank sheet of paper' assignments and problem-solving in a complex environment

Get to know the Role:
We are seeking a GXS Financial Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling financial and regulatory reporting duties, including supporting monthly reporting close & ensuring compliance with certain regulatory returns (mainly MAS Notice 610). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of controls in reporting processes for Digibank, as well as supporting new product launches through automation build and end-user testing. The role requires a strong understanding of financial and regulatory reporting obligations, and the ability to ensure compliance with all shareholder and regulatory requirements.
