Compliance Analyst


RESPONSIBILITIES


Reporting to the Compliance Manager the
Compliance Analyst is part of the Information Security & IT Risk Management team, within Information Technology.


About the role


The Information Security & Compliance Analyst will support the Information Security and IT Risk Management programme by reviewing compliance, keeping records and dealing with complaints and queries.


The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Checking / auditing compliance to processes and regulations, including:
  • Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations including SOX and ISO2700
  • Performing regular compliance reviews of businesses and processes.
  • Ensuring compliance is addressed in documentation and procedures.
  • Managing complaints and requests through to resolution.
  • Tracking remediation of compliance gaps through to resolution.
  • Educating employees and partners through documentation and brochures on how to improve compliance
  • Examining and improving auditing processes to resolve compliance issues quickly or prevent them entirely
  • Giving advice
  • Providing advice on compliance to standards and regulations.
  • Providing advice on controlling risks.
  • Assisting with providing awareness activities.
  • Creating and updating records, including:
  • Maintaining risk and compliance documentation and registers.
  • Maintaining a log of incidents and remedial actions and recommendations.
  • Maintaining / updating own knowledge of regulations, frameworks and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in operations delivery, with an understanding of national and international information security & compliance regulatory standards and frameworks. A background in compliance, information security, business continuity or similar would be preferred but is not essential.
  • Interest in any of security, compliance, risk management, governance and control
  • Good attention to detail, organized, analytical, practical, able to take the initiative and work to deadlines. Ability to conduct research and analyse results.
  • Able to solve problems and come up with solutions
  • Proficient using the Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous client service, project management and/or incident response experience desirable but not essential.

OTHER INFORMATION

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Location:
Singapore (Central Area - Dhoby Ghaut MRT)
