Description

[What the role is]
The Innovation & Enterprise Office (IEO) is the key agency in Nanyang Polytechnic that drives the fostering of Innovative and Enterprising (I&E) culture and practices in the organisation to achieve our I&E vision. You will play a key role in development and implementation of programmes and learning experiences as part of our efforts to help our learners acquire various lifeskills including I&E Lifeskills.

[What you will be working on]

Plan, design and lessons, learning activities, resources and evaluation that:
- align with the learning outcomes of MOE's Life Skills Framework (with focus on I&E)
- incorporate real world / authentic contexts into active learning strategies
- recognise students' learning needs and interests
Apply effective pedagogies and leverage technologies (apps, digitalisation and AI) to deliver and facilitate the learning of I&E and life skills competencies in a co-teaching environment
Collaborate with schools and corporate departments to effectively infuse I&E and life skills content into curriculum
Analyse qualitative and quantitative data gathered across various platforms to assess effectiveness of I&E and life skills curriculum, initiatives and programmes. Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions
Contribute to department-level and NYP-wide events and projects such as Open House
Represent the department in committees, workgroups, and taskforces
Mentor and advise Student Assistant Coaches in MakerSpaceNYP as part of learners' leadership development journey
Perform all academic and administrative duties as required (including accompanying learners on overseas study trips)

[What we are looking for]

Considerable experience, knowledge and skills in teaching and learning in institutes of higher learning environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good IT skills and competent in using online tools for teaching, facilitating and designing content
Comfortable in learning to use various organisation-developed / licensed systems and digital platforms for organisational, academic and portfolio work
Strong research and analytical skills with experience in data analysis techniques and tools e.g Excel or PowerBI
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Good organisational and project management skills
Effective interpersonal skills in managing communication and relationships with learners, parents, internal and external stakeholders.
