    JR39388 Intern - Process & Equipment Engineering (Polytechnic Students) Description : One of the pressing challenges facing many developed and developing economies is how to maintain a competitive manufacturing industry.

    The answer to this question begins with labor productivity.

    These three factors contribute to how productive a facility is:
    −Skilled workers, training and specialization of existing and future workforce;−New technology Digital Transformation, automation, robotics, IIoT

    In this project, students will experience New Technology in digital transformation and have the hands-on opportunity to work on advanced automation application such as Robotic Processing Automation, Tableau, Data Analytic to assist Shift Process Engineering team to replace the manual tasks perform by the team hence increase the productivity for the team.


    Scope: The student will be introduced to a New Technology such as robotic processing automation, data analytic etc where he will have to study and pick up this new programing skills. Study, analyze and perform the manual task untaken by the Shift team and Collaborate with the shift process engineers to develop and automate a daily task performance by the shift process team.

    Deliverable : Identify area of opportunities to reduce manual operation.


    Built and implement for example:
    a Robotic Processing Automation workflow using Uipath or similar software application to improve productivity.
