Description

Leads in mechanical design and development of new products as well as providing technical assistance for the beginning of production.

Responsible for problem-solving using engineering sciences from the respective discipline and sound engineering judgment. Design and develop new technology and processes while meeting departmental cost and quality targets and adhering to company policy.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Responsible for mechanical design and developmentsEnsure adequate technical interface on program assignments

Design and develop new products to meet design center requirements
Provide technical support to production startup
Develop new technology and processes
Meets departmental cost and quality objectives
Interact with vendors/suppliers in the product developmental stage
Comply with company policyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
Proficient in basic CAD and CAE simulation tools
Experience in Automotive or consumer electronics product design
Good knowledge of sheet metal, castings, and plastics
Strong design and analytical skills
