Position objective and summary

Responsible for overseeing technical projects from conception to completion and work closely with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget.

Main tasks /activities /responsibilities

Work to provide timely & accurate quotation to customers' enquiry by coordinating with the team for pricing adjustments to better respond with the changing market conditions and competitors' move.
Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, as well as identifying the necessary resources required to complete the project.
Project engineers must stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. They may conduct research and analysis to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with a project.
Work with teams from various departments, such as lifting, welding, steel fitting, and quality assurance, to ensure that project requirements are met.
Maintaining accurate records of project progress, documenting design changes, and preparing reports for project stakeholders.
Responsible for ensuring that projects comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
Support the undertaking of projects with the Operations team to ensure timely implementation, completion and delivery of projects.
Work with the Service team on the After-Sales support to customer at sites after completion and delivery of projects.
Ad hoc assignment or project assigned by the GM or the Company.
Adhere to good housekeeping, environmental and safety practices.

Job requirements

A Diploma/ bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is typically required.
Employers typically prefer candidates with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in project engineering, project management, or a related field.
Knowledge of relevant software tools, such as CAD 2D/3D, CAM, and project management software.
Knowledge of common types of steel fittings, piping fitting and the work involved in their installation, maintenance, repair, and modification.
Candidates must have strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, as well as manage resources, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
able to analyze technical data, identify trends, and draw insights to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
must have strong communication skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
must be able to adapt to changing project requirements, timelines, and priorities, and to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
must have a high level of professionalism, including a strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
with personal transportation will be a plus
