Description
Roles & ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
§ To assist SPM / PM on the project execution.
§ Prepare method of statement for projects, co-ordination with construction team and sub-contractors.
§ Prepare Schedule & Manpower, Equipment, Machinery & Consumables plan for site works.
§ To review and assist the Technical team for design and details as per site feasibility, and highlight the discrepancy between site and drawings.
§ Day to day management of the site operation, including supervising and monitoring the site manpower and the work of any subcontractors;
§ Detail planning of works and efficiently organizing the plant, site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
§ Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
§ Checking plans and quantities of work done.
§ Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
§ To assist for leading and execute the Site Management System.
§ Responsible for the provision of safe and healthy working environment for all staff.
§ To review and implement good recommended safe work procedure.
§ To assist the safety committee and implement follow up action on safety matters.
§ Plan and organize project team to carry out works efficiently and successfully.
§ Assist in the preparation of budget, overall schedule, quality control, procurement and selection of subcontractors.
§ Plan ahead of schedule and to anticipate site problems.
§ Resolve anticipated site problems before they have any impact on cost, overall schedule and quality.
§ Ensure project team is competent to carry out their work and recommend for their skill upgrading.
§ Define clear scope of work for each member of the project team.
§ Ensure clear instructions are given to each member of the project team.
§ Liaise with Client's Representative and to ensure all problems and requirements of Client is being attended.
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum Qualification : Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management
2. Minimum Experience : 5 years related experience
3. Possess following Soft Skills :
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

· Skilled negotiator
