Description
What the role is
- You assist the Branch Head to strategise and plan Singapore Armed Forces (SAF's) Defence Relations (DR) efforts with countries and multilateral organisations in order to advance the SAF's interests.
What you will be working on
- You deputise for the Branch Head in the latter's absence. You are expected to possess a strong grounding in general military knowledge and comprehensive awareness in geostrategic developments. You should have a good understanding of Policy, Joint and Servicelevel interests in order to synergise DR efforts at the SAFlevel.
What we are looking for
- You must have a tertiary qualification in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Defence Strategic Studies, SEA Studies, History, Philosophy, Communications and Media or Engineering with at least six years' relevant work experience in defence relations/policy/research work, or related skills. You should have a good analytical and inquisitive mind with effective writing skills. You must be comfortable interacting and networking with people.
