    Roles & Responsibilities

    Recruitment Schedule

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Handle invoices in/out and prepare payments
    • Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments
    • Liaise with banks to handle financial execution such as deposit, drawdown, etc. and prepare/submit required documents
    • Handle payroll and keep detailed records
    • Perform IR8A and IR21 for employees
    • Prepare and support filing income tax of employees both in Singapore and in Korea
    • Apply and renew work permit and passes for employees
    • Liaise with company secretary to cope with administrative matters and prepare/submit required documents
    • Maintain the statutory records of companies incorporated in Singapore
    • File returns and update profile with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority, Singapore (ACRA)
    • Handle administrative contracts for subscription and software
    • Liaise with IT and telecommunication service providers attending to issues/requirements
    • Liaise with agents to manage office/house/car rental contracts
    • Liaise with management office of the office building
    • Greet guests and provide refreshment
    • Respond to telephone, oral and written request for information
    • Procure office supplies, operational materials and necessities
    • Coordinate courier services for domestic and international document delivery
    • Report to accounting and finance manager if required
    • Respond to other duties assigned by management if required

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of two (2) or more years' experience in related areas
    • Bachelor's degree in related discipline
    • Professional working proficiency in English
    • Proficiency in Korean a plus – Please specify proficiency level if applicable: Fluent – being able to work in Korean (to read, write, and speak a language fluidly and without hesitation) / Proficient – being able to speak, and read a language without much difficulty / Intermediate – being able to speak a language but with some difficulty
    • Only Singaporean or PR

    Disqualification

    • A person who prepared false documents, made false statements, or forged information during the employment process
    • A person who was charged with a major crime (e.g., murder, robbery, rape, arson, possession or sale of drugs) and sentenced to at least one year imprisonment
    • A person falling under Article 5 of the HR Regulations of Korea Gas Corporation

    HR Regulations of Korea Gas Corporation

    Article 5 (Causes for Disqualification) Persons who fall under any of the following subparagraphs may not be hired as employees.

    1. A person under adult guardianship or a person under limited guardianship
    2. A person who has not been reinstated as a bankrupt
    3. A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or heavier punishment and for whom five years have not elapsed since the execution of the sentence was completed or the non-execution was finalized
    4. A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or heavier punishment and for whom two years have not elapsed since the date of expiration of the period of probation
    5. A person who is in the probationary period of imprisonment or heavier punishment
    6. A person whose qualifications have been disqualified or suspended by a court decision or by law
    7. A person for whom 5 years from dismissal and 3 years from dismissal have not elapsed from the time of disciplinary action
    8. Military service evaders under the Military Service Act in Korea
    9. Persons determined to be unqualified as a result of the recruitment physical examination
    10. Those who are subject to employment restrictions such as those who have been dismissed for non-compliance under the Act on the Prevention of Corruption and the Establishment and Management of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission
    11. A person for whom 5 years have not elapsed since the acceptance was revoked, discharged ex officio, or dismissed/dismissed due to being found to have been hired in an illegal way
    12. A person who has committed a crime prescribed in Article 2 of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes and has been sentenced to a fine of 1 million won or more and has not passed 3 years since the sentence was finalized
    13. A person who has been dismissed from, dismissed from, or sentenced to a sentence or medical custody for committing any of the following crimes against a minor, and the punishment or medical custody has been finalized including one person) A. Sexual violence crimes under Article 2 of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes B. Sexual offenses against children and adolescents under Article 2, subparagraph 2 of the Act on Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse
