Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist operation team to ensure the equipment under your charge (such as powerboats, dinghies, anchors, ropes and other sailing accessories) are operationally ready at all times through regular maintenance.
  • To maintain boat/ equipment asset list storage.
  • Assist in basic boat repair works.
  • Assist in the launching and recovery of powerboats; refueling of petrol and engine oil for powerboats.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace, especially that of the boatyard and its surrounding facilities.
  • Require to attend regular meetings with your supervisor and perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Assist in admin duties such as purchase requisition

Job Requirement

  • As part of your career development, you may be required to attend courses during off duty hours.
  • It is expected of you to foster good team spirit and good working relationships amongst your fellow colleagues through mutual operation and support.
  • You are to contribute to the overall efficiency, productivity image of Singapore Sailing.

Reporting


Reports to Operation Manager or any other person designated by the Executive Directors or General Manager in the absence of the supervisor.


Remunerations:


  • Commensurate with experience and competency
