Responsibilities:

Perform basic and complex nursing procedures and treatment to meet the general comfort and wellbeing of the patient. Perform patient assessment and appropriate interventions for effective patient's outcomes.-
Utilise clinical judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the delivery of patient care and assist in development of clinical policies and procedures.-
Demonstrate expertise in advanced clinical skills and knowledge such as performing intravenous cannulation, venepuncture, administration of medication, ECG monitoring and interpretation, assist in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and blood culture sampling.-
Maintain proper and accurate documentation of patient's progress and management rendered in the notes, medication records and charts.-
Assist Specialist during treatment / procedures and examination of patients. Update the doctor-in-charge about the patient's condition and response to medical intervention.-
Follow through with doctors' order and report promptly any changes in patient's condition to the appropriate doctor.
Job Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma in Nursing and is a registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
At least 3 years post-registration working experience in the appropriate clinical speciality is preferred
Assist Doctors in clinical procedures when necessary
Attend to patient enquiries and liase with medical/admin teams for patient followup
Clinical Specialities:
Surgery, Heart, Children, Medical-Surgical, Eye Centre, Women Centre, NeuroScience, Urology and Radiology
Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment-
Good communication and interpersonal skills-
5.5 days work week
