Description

We are partnering with a Shipowner to seek for a Post Fixture Executive, managing contracts associated with fleet operations.

They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract administration, negotiation, and compliance, ensuring that business interests are protected.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of contract administration, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to vessel operations, charter agreements, and service contracts.
Manage collection processes for demurrage, freight, hires, and other claims across the fleet.
Assist in recordkeeping and reporting on all collection proceeds.
Calculate and invoice freight, time charter hire, and other claims.
Ensure timely raising of claims and revenues as per Charter Party terms.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and monitor contract performance to mitigate risks and maximize value for the company.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Operations, and Finance teams, to address contractrelated issues and achieve business objectives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including charterers, suppliers, and service providers, to drive collaboration and foster mutual success.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field;
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in contract management within the maritime industry, with a strong understanding of vessel operations, chartering, and commercial contracts.
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex contractual terms and conditions.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
