    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsiblities:

    • Lead the planning and implementation of a quality Early Childhood programme in line with ECDA guidelines.
    • Plan, review, and execute a holistic and developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum in the centre.
    • Guide and support the development and implementation of teaching and learning approaches and resources, as well as best practices to enhance the learning experiences for the children.
    • Ensure staff's professional development and well-being is kept abreast with updated trends and developments in the early childhood education sector.
    • Plan, coordinate and conduct staff development activities.
    • Ensure proactive and positive engagement with parents and the community.
    • Manage operations, which include enrolment of children, finance, procurement and administration.
    • Ensure compliance to ECDA on audit, accreditation and licensing, etc.
    • Review and recommend improvement for more effective and efficient processes and procedures.
    • Drive quality improvement initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Degree in any discipline, with Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL)
    • At least 3 years of relevant supervisory experience as Principal / Vice Principal in a childcare setting including infant care
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership qualities with passion in equipping and inspiring young lives
    • Strong knowledge in curriculum and pedagogy
