    Trading Intern - Fixed Income

    General Information

    Hiring Department/Group: Trading

    Job Title: Trading Intern – Fixed Income

    Office Location: Singapore

    Principal Responsibilities

    The Trading Intern will assist Portfolio Managers in building analytical tools for pricing and risk management of Foreign Exchange and Interest rates products. Additionally, they will provide detailed macroeconomic analytics to support investment themes.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Create automated solutions that make existing data collection and signal identification processes more efficient and scalable
  • Develop infrastructure for macroeconomic analysis and monitoring of Asian economies
  • Tracking of sell-side research ideas and views on key upcoming market events
  • Responsible for execution and booking of trades and interacting with counterparties
  • Generate trading ideas based on macroeconomic and/or market themes
  • Ideally some experience working closely with a trading desk in a bank or hedge fund/trading house

    • Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Master's degree preferably in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Business/Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Strong programming and algorithm skills, with proficiency in Python and Pandas being essential.
  • Advanced understanding of macroeconomics.
  • Strong background in financial instruments.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum period of 6 months.
