We are recruiting a Patient care associates for a local healthcare institution in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Nursing care and cleaning services, activity
  • Provide personal care and hygiene to patients such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with mobility and exercise routines for patients
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:


  • Diploma or equivalent Healthcare certificate
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant or patient care technician program
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
