What the role is

  • The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental agency for the early childhood sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children's development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and childcare centres.

We are looking for a motivated and driven person who enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic environment, to be part of the Service and System Management Branch under the Sector Planning department in ECDA.

You will be involved in developing, strengthening and implementing the internal control and risk management framework for preschool subsidy schemes that support families through affordable and quality preschool education.

This role will provide you with opportunities to work with the preschool sector as well as drive the transformation of subsidy administration processes to achieve robustness and efficiency.

What you will be working on

  • Review and strengthen the internal control and risk management framework for preschool subsidy administration
  • Ensure compliance to subsidy audit requirements by internal and external stakeholders
  • Use of data analytics to enhance fraud detection
  • Develop strategies and execute plans to level up sector capabilities in subsidy administration
  • Handle budget and procurementrelated matters

What we are looking for

  • Experience in audit compliance and/or risk management for grant administration or similar field
  • Familiarity with the use of data analytics will be an added advantage
  • Meticulous, analytical and resourceful
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and in teams
