Roles & ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity to join Korean Re Singapore. As we expand our business capabilities in South East&West Asia and ANZ, this role will play a vital part in strengthening Korean Re's presence. We are eagerly seeking talented individuals who are ready to embrace new challenges and contribute to our growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
∙ Manage reinsurance claims for Property Facultative and all lines of Reinsurance Treaty.
∙ Ensure claims are processed within designated Settlement Authority and Korean Re guidelines, including timely action, thorough investigation, regular case reviews, and proper evaluation.
∙ Assist in claims registration and prepare necessary reporting materials for regular reporting.
∙ Process large-loss internal referrals for Korean Re treaty and facultative business.
∙ Administer payment transactions in compliance with financial sanctions and AML/CFT requirements.
∙ Communicate with insurers, brokers, or clients to obtain status updates and respond to information requests.
∙ Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
∙ Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance claims management.
∙ Profound understanding of policy coverage, including associated extensions and exclusions.
∙ Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of monitoring workflow, ensuring quality, and adapting procedures as needed.
∙ Demonstrated expertise and precision in handling numerical data.
∙ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English.
∙ Proficiency in MS Excel and other IT tools.
∙ Collaborative team player with a proactive work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.
