Job Summary/Objective:

Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency through budget control and expense optimization.
Formulate and execute a comprehensive business strategy to achieve revenue targets within the specialized field of tours to China and its adjacent regions.
Take ownership of P&L with a proven record of successful revenue growth.
Ensure agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, including business and manpower budgeting.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to address operational challenges promptly.
Oversee the recruitment and training of new team members.
Maintain professional relationship with operators, suppliers and trade partners.
Coordinate with Marketing Communications and E-commerce departments for competitive positioning through various media.
Mentor and provide training to junior staff by sharing knowledge and experiences.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent
Proven experience in managerial roles within the Tour and Travel industry
Strong financial acumen, capable of comprehending financial reports and making informed decisions from a financial perspective
Exceptional communication skills, including fluent spoken and written Chinese, to effectively engage with Chinese vendors and clients.
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills, underpinned by strong analytical abilities.
Meticulous attention to details

Preferred Qualifications:

Thorough understanding of Chinese culture and business practices.
Prior experience in developing and executing business strategies
Demonstrated history of successful revenue growth and achievement of KPIs

This position will report to the head of China Department.
