- Greet and provide a warm welcome to arriving guests to ensure a welcoming first impression.
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures, coordinate VIP and special guest arrivals and departures, in accordance with established SOPs.
- Provide room orientation to the guests and introduce NEC facilities.
- Manage and coordinate special requests from guests to ensure personalized service delivery (e.g. celebrating special occasions).
- Collate and document guest feedback into the Property Management System.
- Ensure the lobby and guest-facing areas are always neat and clean.
- Proactive in meeting guests' requests and needs throughout their stay.
- Handle guests' request and redirect the request to the appropriate department(s) if request is not within scope and capacity of Front Office.
- Listen to guests' complaints or concerns and resolve their issue in a timely manner.
- Be familiar with NTU and NEC facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events. Provide guests with accurate information as requested.
- Perform any other duties as may assigned by Duty Manager/Front Office Manager.
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Hotel Management or relevant discipline.
- Experience: Experience in the hospitality industry with a minimum of 1 year in a similar capacity.
- Communication Skills: Good spoken and written communication skills in order to interact well with guests.
- Professional disposition: Well-groomed, display a professional disposition with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive: Proactive and prompt in meeting guests' requests and needs.
