    Event Operations Associate
    Join a vibrant team and lead dynamic events in Singapore

    About the Role

    We are seeking a motivated Event Operations Associate to join our operations team in planning and coordinating a wide range of events and activations across Singapore. If you have a passion for events and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Event Management: Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, from pre-event preparation to on-site execution and post-event closing.
    • Vendor Oversight: Work with various vendors and logistic agencies to ensure quality and timelines are met. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while negotiating costs.
    • Production Supervision: Oversee production from fabrication to on-site setup and dismantling. Ensure quality and safety throughout the process.
    • Technical Support: Manage technical requirements, including audio, video, lighting, and electrical setups.
    • Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during event setup and execution, providing swift solutions.
    • Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams in projects and design divisions to ensure smooth event coordination.
    • Safety Compliance: Coordinate risk assessments, safety regulations, and process management documentation.

    • Supplier Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing vendors and ensuring high-quality service.
    • Excellent Negotiator: Skilled in cost negotiation with external vendors and contractors.
    • Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Outgoing Personality: Enjoys interacting with clients, coordinating events, and managing setup and tear-down activities.
    • Strong Work Ethic: Responsible, meticulous, and proactive in solving problems.
    • Hands-On Approach: Comfortable with physical work and outdoor events under various weather conditions.
    • Technical Proficiency: Competent in using software such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Zoom, etc.

    Job Details

    • Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (6-12 months)
    • Salary: $2,800 - $3,500 per month
