Responsibilities

Product owner of QCP Insights responsible for market commentary which includes weekly, monthly and quarterly publications
Establish and maintain QCP's thought leadership position by contributing unique insights and perspectives to the digital asset trading community.
Lead weekly internal trading and risk calls with the trading team covering global macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and Bitcoin and Ethereum spot, futures and options markets.
Keep abreast with daily market developments and highlight important developments to trading team.
Develop house view working closely with the CIO of the firm
Provide short-term and structural trade recommendations internally for markets including FX, Rates and Bitcoin and Ethereum
Work closely with Marketing and Communications to represent the company in external engagements

Requirements

Strong passion and experience in the financial markets including the ability to grasp market trends and narratives
Ability to simplify market developments into bite-sized write-ups that is engaging and easy to understand
Prior experience working in a sell-side research or buy-side portfolio management or strategy/research role.
Comfortable with analysing complex market data and distil them into clear, concise and actionable insights
Familiarity with Bloomberg and market data providers is a plus.
Coding experience in Python/R preferred but not required.
