    Roles & Responsibilities


    Purpose of the Job

    Organize various activities and programs for active ageing services and inter-generational programs. Assist the Centre Manager in executing the eldercare project at the Active Ageing Centre.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and organizing outreach and public education events for the general public.
    • Collaborate on creating outreach and corporate communication materials for mass communications.
    • Develop, review, and implement new membership programs to engage the public.
    • Facilitate training sessions for volunteers.
    • Prepare and submit reports, claims, and documentations to stakeholders.
    • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the Centre Manager or Management.

    Required qualifications and experience

    • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
    • Experience in planning activities and outreach programs.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    Required Competencies

    • Self-motivated with strong coordination and organization skills.
    • Patient and tactful with exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to develop and execute communication materials.
    • Proficient in English, Chinese, and local major dialects.
