Roles & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

Application Monitoring Responsibilities

Define and implement, in coordination with the build team, the necessary application monitoring
Supervise and monitor daily and monthly processes, handling user requests by closely collaborating with project, infrastructure, and production teams
Support overnight batches during the Singapore morning and early afternoon to swiftly analyze and resolve problems, minimizing downtime
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on data quality of risk chains, with heightened activity typically occurring during monthly runs
Maintain programmable code as per technical instructions and software application specifications

Incidents and Requests Management (Business Users and Other IT Teams)

Provide level 1 and level 2 application support to business users such as traders, risk managers, market risk monitoring operators, back-office and middle-office analysts, and market data administrators
Analyze and address incidents, problems, and requests efficiently

Problem Management and Continuous Improvement

Develop and maintain a knowledge base for each application within the team's scope, in coordination with the build and operations teams
Collaborate with the build team to assess problem priorities, monitor resolutions, and contribute to defining long-term solutions
Provide non-functional requirements to the build team for implementing monitoring as code wherever possible

The Support Analyst should demonstrate a proactive approach to security, incident prevention, productivity enhancement, and overall service quality improvement.

Qualifications and Profile

Mandatory

Minimum of 8 years' experience in support roles
Proficiency in ITIL
Background in Software Development or DevOps teams
Experience in SLA and KPI management, client communication, and interaction
Skilled in predictive analysis, consulting, and escalation management
Risk analysis and project execution capabilities
Drive for continuous improvement, innovative solutions, and automation mindset
Strong expertise in XML, SQL, PL/SQL, MQ Series, CFT, and Control-M
Familiarity with monitoring solutions, such as ITRS Geneos
Minimum 3 years' experience with Jenkins and Git (GitLab), and at least 1 year with Ansible
Proficiency in Shell scripting, Perl Scripting (optional), and Unix Batch creation

Good to Have

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
Familiarity with Liquibase or similar tools
Understanding of banking and finance, trade life cycles, and financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD...)
Exposure to Capital Market Front Office/Back Office systems like Summit, Kondor+, Murex, etc.

Education Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in:

Computer Science
Information Technology
Programming & Systems Analysis
Science (Computer Studies)

Working Hours

Expected to work within Paris, New York, or Asia time zones, with possible shifts from 2pm to 11pm/4pm to 1am (summer) or 3pm to 12am/5pm to 2am (winter)
Availability for on-call support during off-hours and weekends as necessary, with claimable allowances for such periods
