    Description
    What You Will Do

    Improve Lead Time / Quality / Cost
    • Lead product improvements for Top quality defects during NPI Pilot run.
    • Minimize yield loss and conformance to products' specifications.
    • Initiate, recommend, investigate, trouble-shoot, and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the products, process, and quality system.
    • Directly accountable for all quality, process related problems for the products under his responsibility, champion, or work with respective department representatives to address the issue within given target deadline.

    DFM
    • Feedback issue to DFM meeting for next incoming products to NPI Pilot Shop.
    • Responsible for working with PDE, DPE, AQP, T and conduct DFM to ensure smooth launch for manufacturing.

    Supervision
    • Provide coaching and supervision for Engineers, Specialist, Technicians & Operators to improve quality system and achieve new product's production yield and target.

    NPI Operations
    • Plan and train resources to run TTV machines in NPI meeting quality and output expectations.
    • Cater the space in NPI Pilot shop for TTV machines according to pipeline, working with PJM and Automation.
    • Run TTV machines in NPI until Run at rate, then transfer to production. Work out transfer criteria with Automation and Production.
    • Set up SAP and OPC to TTV requirement in advance and before starting of run at NPI Pilot Shop.
    • Oversee the NPI production scheduling, production control, inventory control and output.
    • Implementing project plans and schedules in a timely manner. Keep track of all project deadlines and budgetary expenditure, if any.
    • Meet production planned by PIC, for both in-house and vendor (local or overseas) quality/process problems.
    • Liaise with PIC and DPE on planning output requirements.
    • In charge of daily production output and operational efficiency.
    • Provision headcount to support production for NPI samples or for quality issues, when needed.
    • Ensure optimal machine and fixture utilization.
    • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
    • New products – responsible for working with PJM, DPE, Planner, Automation Engineer, Product Design Engineer, QA/AQP and components Engineer, ensuring the release for manufacturing.
    • Full Qualification must be done. Responsible for equipment transfer from other entities, or transfer to other entities in term of machine set up and smooth running of production with full qualification.
    • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, capacity, space requirements, and equipment layout.
    • Prepares production and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

    Compliance
    • Comply with PBM Guiding Principles for the job carry out under his/her responsibility.
    • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
    • Involve in internal and external audit.
    • Ensure RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) compliances.

    Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
    • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering
    • Process analytical skill.
    • Process yield improvement, COPQ reduction
    • 5 years of experience in relevant field
