    Description
    Communication specialist - 1 Yr Extendable Contract
    RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Assisting the Comms Lead in planning and strategizing marketing and communication plans for teams or projects.
    2) Writing and editing timely, relevant and original content for the department's internal channels including emails, intranet and website updates;
    3) Maintaining department SharePoint sites by building content rich pages and ensuring timely updates;
    4) Managing content created by the department for sharing with the organization;
    5) Supporting, planning and delivering a full range of events, such as town halls, thought-leadership briefings and conferences;
    6) Coordinating with various teams within the department to ensure internal communications, media and marketing campaigns are fully aligned;
    7) Delivery of communications activities for the department;
    8) Liaising and managing vendors for collateral and development work;
    9) Research and sharing of new and emerging trends and technologies in our areas;
    10) Provide administrative support for the team when needed;
    11) Must maintain knowledge of all communications team procedures; stay informed and up-to-date on the activities and achievements of the team;

    1)Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills;
    2)Creativity/ good judgement in order to deliver complex messages in simple ways;
    3)Good working attitude with strong work ethics and commitment to meeting deadlines;
    4)Meticulous, systematic and organised;
    5)Self-motivated team player;
    6)Good interpersonal communication skills;
    7)Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
    8)SharePoint, HTML, CSS, JavaScript would be a plus
