Description

Role Purpose:
Deliver benefit to IHG through optimizing supplier relationships and commercial deals for Regional Hotel Operational Expenditure.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Deliver sourcing solutions and category plans for relevant Hotel expenditure as defined by the Regional Procurement Strategy
  • Drive embedding of the solutions in the owner estate to standardize Guest Experience and create efficient opening solutions
  • Build, coordinate and lead cluster level hotel procurement programs in targeted markes to drive procurement efficiencies in cluster spend areas
  • Monitor compliance and success of different cluster programs, business partnering where necessary
  • Ensure all PaCE processes and standards are embedded in this endeavor (Responsible Procurement and Sustainability, DoA, Contract Standards), ensuring accountability for operating within the PaCE Operating Model
  • Support system and process implementation and standardization in this endeavor
  • Provide appropriate and credible senior level commercial challenge up to and including VP level to ensure that procurement approach is robust and that commercial 3rd party relationships are structured to meet IHG's needs

Key Skills & Experiences:


  • Track record of Implementing procurement plans and executing complex sourcing projects in an operational environment, including through the use and deployment of systems
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to create crossfunctional working groups with other functions and hotel colleagues
  • Capable of managing relationships through all levels up to VP level
  • Strategic understanding of IHG's global business and demonstrated capability in both identifying and responding to broader business trends
