Roles & Responsibilities

The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and successful implementation of solar projects. This individual will be responsible for coordinating various project aspects, ensuring adherence to project criteria, and overseeing the installation of solar electrical systems and components. The role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing all engineering design plans for solar projects to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Performing complex calculations and designs related to solar electrical systems, including grid interconnection and transportation planning.
Overseeing the installation process of solar electrical systems and their components, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely completion and delivery.
Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and maximizing productivity.
Proactively identifying and addressing project challenges and risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Conducting regular project reviews to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and permits throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in solar project management or related field, with a minimum of [insert number] years of experience.
