Are you a talented chef with a passion for Asian cuisine? We're seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring food quality and consistency
Prepare and cook a variety of Asianinspired dishes according to standardized recipes
Supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen assistants, to maintain high standards of food production and hygiene
Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering and receiving supplies to minimize waste and maintain freshness
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items, seasonal specials, and tasting menus
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment maintenance and proper storage of ingredients

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role in an Asian cuisine restaurant or hotel
Strong culinary skills with a focus on Asian cooking techniques and flavor profiles
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
Creative flair and a passion for experimenting with new ingredients and flavors
Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced kitchen environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
