    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • To be the Subject Matter Expert in all regulatory requirements concerning market conduct matters that cut across product lines including Life, Health, and General Insurance
    • To review consultation papers from both regulators and industry bodies, and implementation of the requirements when they are affected by regulatory notices and undertakings.
    • Able to manage governance around marketing materials and advertisements to ensure that they meet regulatory and compliance policy requirements.
    • To provide advice to business on cross border regulatory requirements (and recommend controls) for offshore clients/business and transactions.
    • To assist in the completion of relevant thematic risk reviews and controls monitoring assessments for insurance to strengthen proactive risk management and risk stewardship activity.
    • To assist the team in the consolidation of information required for management reporting in respect of distribution compliance risk areas.

    Requirement:

    • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance or in any related majors
    • At least 5-6 years of experience in Advisory role in Banking, Financial or Insurance Industry
    • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements/expectations under the Financial Advisers Act (FAA), Securities and Futures Act (SFA), Fair Dealing guidelines and the associated notices issued, including those issued by LIA regarding life and health insurance businesses on the market conduct requirements, will be crucial in this role.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
    • Good to have any relevant certification in Compliance.
