**Security Systems Engineer [L2 / IT Audit / Procurement ]

**Location: Changi

The Security Systems Engineer shall analyze, troubleshoot, resolve and fix all network and systems technical issues. This includes execution of IT disaster recovery plans critical to business operations.

Therefore, this person needs to have solid and expert level of L2 knowledge

for support on items relating to infrastructure inventory, hardware and software upgrades, IT audits for security and Security configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain APAC region Infrastructure inventory and warranty service
Provide regular backup to Infrastructure devices, services, and important production data and images.
Optimal networks and systems performance and systems capacity planning (Capacity Management)
Deployment of security fixes on Infrastructure services in accordance to Corporate Vulnerability and Patch Management policy
Create & maintain document portfolio of Site Catalogue, Operations / Audit Best Practices, troubleshooting & related solutions knowledge base.
Carry out software and hardware maintenance and provide the stability of various systems
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve critical network and system issues
Execute IT Disaster Recovery Plan (IT DRP)

Job Scope & Main Duties:

Responsible for set up of Network and Systems in Hong Kong & Asia Offices
Supporting & Maintaining Networks, Servers, Storage, hardware and associated software products
Keeping Infrastructure operating and meeting the agreed servicelevel
Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Infrastructure in accordance to the Security Standard and Change Management Policy
Leveltwo escalation support to Infrastructure issues that require technical specialization
Performing preventive maintenance of Infrastructure devices and services
Overseeing operational health of Infrastructure devices and services (Availability Management)

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, HP Server and Storage hardware.
Familiarity of LAN/WAN technologies
Functional knowledge of Palo Alto firewall, Juniper, Fortinet and Cisco network devices
Experience with Windows Server, VMWare ESXi/vCenter and VEEAM backup
Linux / Open Source tools and Knowledge of Server Room setup will be an advantage.

Good-to-Haves:

Academic background in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent with Bachelors and or above.
34 years of proven experience in IT Operations & End-User Support environments
Have managed vendors and suppliers previously through Procurement exercises by ensuring best competitive solutions can be secured for organizational needs.
