Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a BA who has experience in the following:

Mandatory Skills: MySQL

Preferred Skills: Java

Prepare and lead requirement gathering activities
Gather, analyze and formalize user business processes and requirements
Verify and validate the requirements and document them into documents
Perform screen mockup and prototype to confirm requirements
Understand the project scope and ensure requirements adhere to project scope
Analyze and consider the integration between modules and interfaces with other systems
Perform requirement traceability, identify out of scope requirements and escalate scope
creep
Review, identify and resolve conflicting, incomplete and inaccurate requirements
Review requirements with end users and seek timely approval
Participate in negotiation of out-of-scope items
Develop technical design specification and translate technical design into process/program
specification
Develop training materials and conduct training to end users
Review, verify & validate fixes are tested correctly before rolling out to production
Ensure accurate update of configuration items, including hardware, software, documentation, etc.
Experience in Java, Spring framework, BIRT report, SQL and Oracle database
Familiar with Sonar and Fortify scan to improve code quality
Provide application support and application troubleshooting
Provide production support, support user query and work on enhancements
Perform impact analysis for enhancements, changes/fixes to system
Perform workaround and problem resolution, i.e. analyze and classify issues, queries and issues reported by users
Lead investigation of reported issues, identify root cause, implement workaround and fixes to resolve issues within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Track all reported request, issues, etc. to closure and within SLA
Able to work well with Team Lead, fellow colleagues and developers
Able to update documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good command in English (written and verbal)
Able to read/understand coding is advantageous.
