Major Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Oversee the financial performance and operations of the consolidated NHG Cares financials.
  • Lead, plan and communicate the budget/projection cycle for NHG Cares, meeting all the internal deliverables and timelines.
  • Analyse and understand the budgets/ projections of the different functions. Consolidate, analyse the budget and provide financial advice to NHG Cares CEO/ Senior Management Members (SMM) on the budget planning
  • Present monthly consolidated actual financials, with insightful analysis to SMM
  • Handle all other finance related support, audit and treasury related matters, ensure compliance to policies and relevant regulations, strong internal control, audit and treasury related matters.

Provide Analysis for Strategic Decisions

  • Support NHG Cares CEO on financial analysis to ensure the operations are adequately funded and sustainable in the longer term. This include assisting NHG Cares Management on necessary cost management measures.
  • Provide analysis on the financial viability and value proposition of the various projects for informed decision by management.
  • Provide costing and pricing support for new services or business models.
  • Review resources utilisation or projects to track the achievement against the desired outcome, and to highlight on timely basis on potential areas to improve (where applicable).

Job Requirements
Education/Experience

  • A recognised degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent.
  • At least 10 years working experience, with prior healthcare experience will be an advantage.
  • Experience with analytics/big data preferred, have good statistical analysis and quantitative reasoning skills and ability to focus on intent and design executional plans through the use of data for desired.
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Good report writing skills will be added advantage.
