Role Overview:

This position helps meet the IT needs of Fortinet's rapidly growing workforce.

With over 10,000 employee worldwide (and growing) and the implementation of new IT network and systems, we are looking for a mid-level Network Engineer to help us ensure fullest uptime network support.

In this critical role you will be based in our Singapore office and support our SEA ANZ distribution of network and server systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a network security company and utilize the latest systems and equipment to support our network availability.

Responsibilities:

Helpdesk Ticketing support.
Deliver network implementation and remediation projects to meet demands.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problem, analyse root cause.
Implementation, Install, maintains and upgrade network hardware, software, and operating systems.
Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information.
Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problem and outages.
Coordinates and communicates with users.
Responds to and resolves support requests.
Participate in an oncall rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.

Requirements:

35+ years of experience in network administration.
Certifications in one or more of the following: CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet certification a plus.
Comprehensive understanding of networking hardware and infrastructure.
Experience in troubleshooting network problems.
Strong L2/L3 switching experience and knowledge.
Experience managing MPLS, IPSec VPN encryption platforms and policies.
Expertise in firewall platforms, network security such as AV, IPS, DLP.
Experience on managing enterprise Wifi environment.
Experience on managing enterprise VoIP environment.
Experience with Network Monitoring System e.g., Panopta/Cacti/SIEM.
Basic Knowledge for VMware ESXi infrastructure.
Handson experience supporting networking in an enterprise environment.
Occasional traveling required.
Excellent English oral and written communications skills.
Diploma/Bachelor in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
