Description
The global Commodities Derivative Settlement Systems team is responsible for developing technology solutions supporting the commodities trading business on their OTC settlement processes through the derivatives\xe2\x80\x99 entire lifecycle.
The trading system covers multiple commodities business lines including Oil liquids, Natural Gas, Electricity, Metals, Agricultures and Index etc. In terms of the trade types, it handles lifecycle for futures, swaps, basis swaps, various Options, OTC derivatives, exotic trades and physical forwards trades.
The Commodities Derivative Settlement system supports calculating, aggregating and executing the settlement process either on the financial cashflows or the physical deliveries generated by the over-the-counter derivative trades in Morgan Stanley commodities trading systems in real-time or STP bulk-process, managing the client confirmations, cash or physical settlements, account and balances with electronic invoicing systems, journal posting system, balance reconcile systems and swift execution ability etc. throughout the entire OTC settlement management.
There are constantly new requirements for changes in Commodities trading systems in order to enable the new business, meet regulatory demands, address the IT infrastructure upgrade requested from external parties such as exchanges, renovate the various critical components of trade system using trended technologies such as Spring Boot, Kafka and cloud deployment etc. Therefore this is a great opportunity to learn commodities trading business at global scale, understand data model of various trade types and develop system to support commodities derivatives lifecycle management front to back.
