Description

Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Tax Planning

  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
Financial Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of tax provisions for financial statements.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
Audits and Inquiries

  • Manage tax audits and inquiries, working closely with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Prepare documentation and responses to tax inquiries to resolve issues efficiently.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations, to provide tax guidance on business initiatives. Communicate complex tax issues to nontax professionals effectively.
Research and Analysis

  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on tax issues, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
M&A Due Diligence

  • Lead tax due diligence efforts for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Assess tax implications and risks associated with proposed transactions.
Tax Structuring

  • Develop and implement taxefficient structures for M&A transactions.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to optimize deal structures.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Progressive experience in tax, solid understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience in tax compliance, planning, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
