pawaTech is looking for a Senior DWH Engineer with a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to collaboration. As a DWH Engineer, you will play an essential role in our Data Domain team, crafting ClickHouse database structures in sync with our Data Warehouse model. Your expertise will drive seamless data integration, close collaboration with analysts and BI developers, and innovative approaches to enhance loading efficiency and design refinement.

Compensation range: €5000 - €8000 full contractual monthly pay

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and creating database objects for the ClickHouse-based Data Warehouse;
• Integrating data from TiDB, MySQL and MongoDB into ClickHouse efficiently;
• Collaborating with analysts and BI developers for seamless data fusion;
• Advising business analysts and DWH users on ClickHouse to enhance decision-making;
• Innovating ETL processes for efficient data loading into ClickHouse;
• Refining Data Warehouse design while maintaining data integrity;
• Participating in DWH projects, including analysis, modelling, development, testing, and deployment;
• Staying updated on tech trends and integrating emerging tools for continuous improvement.

What makes you a great candidate:

• Understanding of Data Warehouse architecture design principles;
• Differentiating Data Warehouse from Transactional Design Methodologies;
• Preferably experience with ClickHouse databases;
• Solid grasp of SQL syntax (any dialect);
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases;
• Experience in ETL (ELT) or data-loading tasks;
• Proficient documentation skills;
• Enthusiastic about learning new technologies;
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Extra expertise we appreciate:

• Participation in DWH projects as an ETL developer, contributing across development stages with data exceeding 1TB;
• Engaging with DWH stakeholders, gathering requirements;
• Familiarity with the BI tools landscape and hands-on exposure to any BI tools (Redash).
